With less than 2 months until the birth, we spent the best part of today assembling the babies cot that Graham and Sue have generously bought for us. These are some of the photos from that, and of the nursery.

Some early ultrasounds of Jai, approximately 11 weeks after conception, when he was just 47.9mm (4.8cm) long. His heart was beating at 158bpm when we had these pictures taken at the Joondalup hospital.

Some more photos of the Lovebirds, including some of the baby white ino which was bred about two weeks ago, and is now old enough to leave the nest.

Some baby Lovebirds have just got big enough to leave the nest, so I took this as an opportunity to photograph them again. The smaller bird that is still lacking a few feathers in the first few pictures is one of the new ones. It's likely there are a couple more in the nest who haven't ventured out yet.
