I was watching the road one day from my place in Hillarys when this old woman walked past, I saw her walk slowly from one end of the street to the other (we were on the elbow of a bend, and it was a long street!!) and she just looked so lonely. I was fiddling with this tune as I wrote it, and that was a ditty in a minor key, so sounded a little bit slow and down, which suited the mood of what I had seen, thus Mrs. Nobody was born. Some people say it sounds like a Beatles song, but I've never been that much into the Beatles, so I really wouldn't know.

This song was written around the time that I was working with Lesley, doing some solo stuff and working in the duo and band. Life was pretty busy back then. Genge (RTRFM) said that he really liked the song, and called me one morning to let me know he was playing it on the brekky show. I'm not used to be woken up so early, so really didn't know what to say.

Album Details:Live on radio, at 100FM in Fremantle on The Twilight Zone with Alan Dawson and Glenn Oliver. I remember we hadn't rehearsed this set, due to a comedy of errors; we were practicing in the back room of 100FM, but Ians drum hitting was too loud for between the breaks so we had to stop when every song stopped. So much for practice!! When we set up inside their small announcement booth, we had Ian facing backwards on the other side of the door, Steve was cramped in a corner, as I was, and Alan had his keyboards in the DJ's entry to the studio. We had about an inch leeway between us. Glenn and Alan set up two mikes as overheads, we shared a set of headphones (which provided foldback for the vocals), and we were off. Never refuse a challenge!

When Poetic Justice broke up, Greg and Richard formed this new band, introducing Greg's brother Michael on drums, and Kevin (who was previously mixing for Bad News and Poetic Justice) on the bass. Sometime when the Wooden Gods were wrapping up recording, Richard joined this band, on bass again, with Phil on guitar and Craig on keyboards - a week later Rhona joined on drums, and a week after that we had our first gig. We played at several places around Perth before Rhona had to leave the band due to external commitments, which saw Allan Wilkerson join (who had worked with both Craig and Phil in seperate bands previously). Several more gigs later, Craig resigned from the band, leaving Phil and Richard to create the "Ambassadors of Pan".

Richard formed his own band, after being introduced to keyboard player Alan Burke by local radio presenters; along with Michael Pereira on drums. Soon Steve joined on bass before Michael left and Ian Murphy filled in for the drumming. The Three Wise Monkeys was a pet name given to a project Kevin and Richard had going; it featured a few guest artists from bands and friends and performed one gig at "The Back Stabbers Awards", recorded to video by Greg Pereira in 1991.

Formed in 1988, and named after the movie "The Bad News Bears", the core line up consisted of the two Potts brothers, Jason and Cam on bass and drums, with Greg on guitar - Richard joined in 1989 just before Amy, shortly after Amy joined the band changed name to "Poetic Justice", playing a few gigs under this name before Amy left in 1990. The main vocals were replaced by Tracey Reid, prior to the band breaking up in late 1990.
