With Eunice still sick, Leonard and I headed out on the KTM Kommunter line to Port Klang later in the day. There we stopped at a Hindu temple where the priests were surprised to seee a Malaysian (Leonard) and a white man (myself) so far from the normal tourist type detinations. They gave us both a blessing and some fruit and we photographed some of the statues around the temple. Leonard was surprised tha a lot of buildings in this district had been demolished, and there was not too much around. He said that the last time he was there about 3 or 4 years ago, there was a lot of buildings here.
We caught the train back to Klang and Leonard showed me Eunice's old school, but as it was getting dark by this time, I didn't take too many photos. We stopped at an Indian store and had some Tandoori chicken before heading back. On the way to the station, we saw this procession heading down the street. We had commented earlier that the Church was unusally full (being next to Eunice's old school, we saw many cars parked around, and the sounds from inside).
