This morning Eunice and I hired a tuk-tuk and went to some of the outer temples to the east called the Rolous Group, this consisted of three sites that we visited. As the tuk-tuk driver took us there, we saw some of the more rural parts of Siem Reap, and took these photos along the way.
The first temple we came to was Lolei, around 15km from the city centre.
The next site was Preah Ko,
The last of the three was Bakong, and was the most impressive of the group. This was a large site surrounded by a large moat and much jungle, as you can see in these photos.
After looking through these temples, the tuk-tuk driver took us back to the heart of Siam Reap, where we grabbed a meal (and a hard earned beer!) before walking back to the hotel.
