Mini restore/upgrade
I bought this Mini from eBay for less than $10, but the previous owner has cut the wheel wells and it's in generally poor condition. I replaced the non-fitting rear wheels with the ones you see here (from an F1), the front wheels don't fit correctly, missing guide pin and a few other problems.

Re: Mini restore/upgrade
removed decals and gave it a coat of primer, which really showed up the flaws

Re: Mini restore/upgrade
used the dremel to make a hole in the bonnet, then filled any mistakes with model putty, and fixed a few other flaws along the way

Re: Mini restore/upgrade
Oddly enough, I had exhausts like that from the same hotwheels car, but the dremel went too far in and they aren't any good no more

Last night I stripped the chassis, primed and painted
