had a good day at xlr8 today and finished off what i planned for to do on sunday. because of that i won't be there tomorrow. glued and screwed the second layer of mdf down and routed the slots. with a bit of luck , should be racing within the month. alan

Why race over a scale 1000ft ? wouldnt it make more sense to race over a scale 1/4 mile ? (1320ft)

With a scale 1/4 mile there is only about 7 meters to pull up @ 160 kph I don't think they would stop to well that is why we went to 1000 ft to give more braking so not to destroy cars

Like what another certain unmentioned raceway has developed a habit of doing. No way is the Argy Jr. hot rod racing down that when that's happening.

come on John, it was a lot less than 7m left over wasnt it? Extra breaking area was needed anyway.

About 7 meters could be a little more and a little less can't remember and with the qualty of the track so far cars are going to reach huge speeds so we can't skimp on the breaking area
