Hi I am wondering if anybody has the no how to attach adjustable brakes to hand controls. Thanks Bill  |

Hi Bill, Can you be more specific ? Are you talking about stock controllers ? Or aftermarket ones ? Most after market ones have brakes in them already and just needs to be connected into the track. if the controller hasnt got them, then it might be kinda hard to hook in a brake, but i'm sure it could be done... Maybe just add a button for the brakes ? would be kinda nasty to hit the brakes at full throttle tho, as the brakes normally just short out the rails on the track, so add a short, to full power ? something will give ! |

Hi Cam, I want to attach a variable pot so I can have variable brakes, I know it can be done but can't remember where I saw it, I was hoping that some one can point me in the right direction. the controllers i have are professor motor digital and a set of parma. i also have brake control and power settings on the control box but it would be easier if it was on the hand piece. on Parma controllers, the red wire is for braking - so need to put an adjustable pot inline. No idea what ohmage though... I used to have a brake on/off switch, same idea |
