BMW M1 Repaint
Got this M1 with a bunch of stuff from the UK, so decided to do a repaint. The gold that would normally be on here was scratched off, and it was covered in a whitish powder both inside and out, and generally in a poor state. On with the pics ... The original black, with a load of muck inside (the outside was also like this, but this shot was after a bit of cleaning with toothbrush and detergent): Two sprayed coats of Silver later: Added some decals in a "fantasy" livery: Gave a couple of coats of clear (Pledge one-go) floor polish: The finished product: Compared to an original M1 in black: Cheers! Nice repaint. I love those M1s, I miss my 1/24th scale one I started off with all those years ago (well, four years) _________________ XSRDragRacing.com - Western Australian slot drag racing site |
