Lexan Bodies
A while ago I bought some Lexan Bodies from HoSlotCars.com for $us2 each ... I'd like to order some more but the postage of $us17 is proving to be restrictive - is anyone else wanted bodies and prepared to chip in for postage? The more of us that buy bodies, the cheaper the postage becomes per head ...??

Re: Lexan Bodies
Not for me,

Dave has lots of bodies that I don't have yet and the postage for his bodies is really cheap.

Re: Lexan Bodies
I'd look for another supplier who gives reasonable postage rates

can get a small entire AFX set shipped over for not much more$$

Re: Lexan Bodies
Hmm, yes, apparently this is caused by the box, rather than the bodies ... the idea was to get a few bodies that Dave doesn't have, come to think of it - I haven't seen a list of what Dave has ...

Any chance we can get a list as I wouldn't mind making a few more bodies

Re: Lexan Bodies
Since Dave hasn't taken up the challenge, so as his agent I will have to step up and do the sale talk.

First the disclaimer, while this is under the title of Lexan bodies, Dave uses a different polycarbonate so his bodies are not strictly lexan.

From my records he has made the following at one time or another but doesn't necessarily have all available all the time. But check out the list and discuss your requirements:

- Classic Mini

- New Mini

- New Beetle

- BA Falcon

- XW Falcon (Phase II)

- EL Falcon

- VR (?) Commodore

- VX (?) Commodore

- Lambo Murcielago (LWB)

- Lotus Elise (LWB)

- Ferrari 250 GTO

- Ferrari Dino 246 GT

- E49 Charger

- HQ sedan and Ute

- 740 Volvo (LWB and SWB)

- Lancia Stratos Turbo

- F1 - new shape with integral wing

Still in progress - XC Falcon, Old Beetle, R28 Celica, Ford GT40
Possibilities - SLR Torana

But he loves a challenge so if you are looking for something in particular please ask.

Price is $3.00 each but this includes a second "not quite prefect" body to practice your paint job on. Heavy discounts are available for repeat customers, bulk purchases and for Group members. Ask about the deal you can get.

I also offer a great package deal on a second hand Super G+ chassis, AJ's slicks and one of Dave bodies. You can get a real speed machine for the cost of a Super G+ out of a shop.

Any one interested, drop me an email at soccerkiddo3@amnet.net.au or talk to us at the next get together.

Geoff

Re: Lexan Bodies
I'd like to say here that I recently took delivery of a bunch of stuff from Geoff, (Many thanks) & amongst the gear was quite a few of Dave's bodies.

I have to say that the quality of the shells impressed me. I haven't seen a pic of one of Dave's bodies as yet that impressed me as much as they do in the flesh. Nice one Dave!
