Well done. Looks even bigger as 4 lanes than it did as 2. 
Faster or slower with the small changes you made to fit 4 lanes. 
I wil have to get up your way soon and give it a go. |

Dont know if its slower or faster Geoff ! I only put it together last night, cleaned it, made sure all 4 lanes work, and thats it ! thats to say i havent got my timing bits sorted yet so i dont know
So there is still a fair bit of work to go before its race friendly, but should be done by race day !! |

Also started again with fixing the track to minimise movement, however i'm not screwing it to the table just yet, tring to fix situations where the lanes were drifting apart where elevated  |

and more of the same... using some steel duct lid i picked up from work last weekend, cutting to length and just drilling holes in the correct spots...  |

Well i guess i could do that.... The joined track makes it very solid ! its great ! Geoff asked a while ago about laptimes with the change from 2-4 lanes, not sure that its really that much slower, but I managed to get around the 2 lane track in 6.953 seconds, but tonight, with the Storm I could only manage 7.8 something, it sure doesnt seem 1 second slower !! So now i've gotta sort out the track where there are gaps, mark the lanes, power taps, then let the decoration begin !! cya, Cam |
