Re: Cam's Track
Is that a big clamp I spy in the foreground?? Looking for a loaner as my 1.2m end curve will have a 10° bank on it, and at $40+ for a one off job, I'm not too keen to buy one ... _________________ Speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed Racer |

Re: Cam's Track
Yer, the ones about 50cm go up to about $10, then the 75cm ones are around $20, after you reach 1m they are around $35 and the price keeps going up!! But anyway - I'll figure something out _________________ |

Re: Cam's Track
More work today... connected in another power tap, so thats 5 of the 10 are now hooked up, finished off the other control panel. Soldered the 180deg. banked curve to stop it coming apart and put in better supports, trimmed the PCB for the light bridge down and glued it in place. Extended the wall around the 6+9" donut so cars have close to zero chance of coming off and going thru the timing strip. Also started painting the table inside of the banked curve but ran out of paint ! |

The extra looks good. Look forward to seeing a competitive meet there... (Smilie of reaction of getting a car flying off the bridge and into someone's particulars... ) _________________ Catch Australia's fastest AA Funny Cars on XSRDragRacing.com |

Re: Cam's Track
What? No real water in the pond. Where are you going to keep the fish? The cats will be disappointed...... I can't wait to come off that bridge of yours and take out one of those trees. |

Re: Cam's Track
so much realism - especially the fluoro track That's looking **** awesome - is there still gonna be a rock festival in there somewhere? Geoff, I think Cam attaches those trees quite strongly, might be your favourite car that's taken out Apart from the swamp, my fav bit is actually the look of that grey 'concrete'. |
