Re: Cam's Track
Cam awesome looking setup. You and I think alike. I always envisioned a detailed track with the option of using scenic scale (rice grain and led) or UV lighting. It would look like two different tracks. Never knew just how cool the UV could look. Thank you. Do you know if UV clear paint comes in colors? Did you win? Steve |

Re: Cam's Track
Hey Steve, I've not found clear UV paint in different colours, but its hard enough to just find clear UV paint. That was kinda the idea that my track would look a certain way under normal lights, and totatly different under the UV. I've gotta pull my finger out and do more work on it, there has been some changes since the last pics ! mostly scenic.. |

Re: Cam's Track
Well I did some more work today ! I've changed out the optical sensors as there was some issues with the fast cars and them not being counted, so I've used the same sensors that are in the drag strip (which works perfectly Geoff ) I've tested these using my SP35 @ 30V and didnt get a single miss read at full throttle, and to make it a bit harder I wasnt running a body ! |

Re: Cam's Track
Well i dont think reeds would have worked the other day either! I found the software on the PC we were using was set to 10ms for the timer resolution! no wonder it was so bad ! I think this is a good reason to make sure the normal timing PC is in place |
