Parma Econ Controllers, Group Buy
Hey Guys, I've found a someone that can supply the parma econ controllers for $35 a piece + post I'll look into the costs of a decent plug as well, as the controllers come with bare ends. Probably $1.50 or something for the plug I was using at Karl's. Apparently he can get different colours (yellow and purple/blue?)and the standard resistances from 25-60 Ohm (25,35,45,60). I'd like to have these available for Dave's so if i can get an order in to the guy in a week would be good ! Cam .JPG) |

Cam, i don't think that pic is one of the normal econo finger triggers. It looks like a Parma Turbo trigger with speed holes drilled in it. The rest of the controller is def. an econo though. Do Parma do 15-10 ohm resistors for REALLY quick stuff. If not, i could sort yas out!  |

Chad Parma changed their Ecomony controllers 12 months or so ago to the "new improved" plastic trigger. As you say adapted from the Turbo model.  |

ok, resistors are avilable ! 25, 35 & 45 Ohms. $18.00 each. Seems i was a bit off on the price of the plugs they are about the mono ones cost me $2.42 each, waiting for the stereo ones to arrive, but a revised guess is about $3.50 ! They sure are a much nice plug than what everyone has been using ! sure, they arent as good as some of the nice Neutrik ones, but hey ! the cost about $5-10 ! i think the last ones of those i bought were right angle mono ones at $5 each ! but very sexy plugs 
btw anything is better than Tricky Dickys

looks like I need a new 45 Ohm resistor 
mine has shorted and partially dewound itself. So that 'spare' 45 Ohm controller may already have an owner |

Mine also kinda died on saturday night
the winding broke, but was able to undo 1 winding and join it by twisting, had no luck soldering it ! |

eeeeep.. I will state here that my trusty "lucky" Parma has worked very well for some time, and I believe failures are still quite rare, but to have 2 fail doesn't look that good. I still plan to buy another. |
