Chad

I got mine from Clark Rubber. Seems that it comes as a packing sheets outside of bundles of other sheets so it not normally sold. It was damaged in places and it varied a bit in thickness but as I was cutting it up anyway. In the end they were happy to get a few dollars for something that they normally throw away.

It is a pity that you can't get 5mm polystyrene. It was so simple to do.

Shawn used some cork tiles on his track and they came up OK.

MDF looks good but takes time to cut it neatly. Something you can cut with a Stanley knife is so much easier.

Good luck.

Cork tiles
Chadells, how's it going big fella?
Mate try cork tiles, make up some templates, or simply line up the cork underneath and mark with a pencil and cut with a stanley type knife, and paint afterwards. it's got a face side which is slightly niver than the bottom side.

Hi ya Chadster , I used to get plenty of sheet foam from where I used to work in Canningvale some years back now , You should be able to get it from any glass supplier as sometimes it gets used for protecting sheets of glass from being damaged when bieng transported in shipping containers. :-)

How's things in S.A. , send me an e-mail or 2 off line.
