Greetings from melbourne
Saw the light on and thought id drop in, melbourne the troll of ho slot cars, yes iam under a bridge like a warewolf<wearwolf>? urban myth perhaps...but in existance in a small way, you guys have definatly got it goin on a credit to ya.I have a small collection of cars to my credit and run on an ever expanding afx/tyco with lifelike adaptors attached track about 40 feet worth on a 12 by 5 foot table in the shed/workshop, i race alone even the wife dont wanna know...never mind, its BOODY FANTASTIC. the home brew enginnering dept has been toying with the diecast aspect of our humble sport...so thanks for the insperaton tho lacking in persperaton...makes no apolgies for grammatical errors...enjoy any way..small scale petrol heads unite, or in this case ELECTRIC HEADS..zol

zoltechx....

Where in Melbourne are you located? I'm a transplanted Canadian who's done a bit of HO racing in the past
No car but have a couple tackle boxes full of gear that easily fits onto a train! I'm living in Altona at the moment.

Have been racing for about 20 years....and aside from the last three most of that has been 'seriously' (as serious as you can be racing toy cars!)

G'day Zol,

"did you know there is commercial track in williamstown near the station"

If you're talkin' about 'Slot Car Willys' I know it. Did the 1/32 and 1/24 for a short while whwn I first moved to Toronto (obviously before moving to Australia) but always come back to my preferred scale....HO. Collecting is fun but more fun is getting onto the track and having a few hot laps with someone. I'm always around and interested.

I'm happy to share my wealth of track wiring knowledge as well as any tuning tips I can offer. On the indentive side I may have a a stock Patriot or two kicking around unused in the box

Oh yes.....native Canadian who's been livin' downunda for the last 3 years. No to Brett Hart though. haha

Seems the Melb termites are coming out of the woodwork

Our illustrious Organizer, Geoff, once hailed from somewhere in Vic.. maybe you guys should move over here haha

Nah, see if you guys can get together, bring a mate or two, and put some feelers out there - that's how we started
