Re: New controller
Hate to Hijack this link, but the Collectors had some nice robots and diecast cars on them tonight. The Chinese Birld on the show must collect them as well as the DB5 astin Martin Corgi car, she was drooling over them all. When will they do a story on Geoff's collection?

Dangermouse: you will have to use a wire wound brake pot for use with 1/32 cars.

Chad

Long time no hear. How is everything going in sunny SA?

On the question of brake pots, I have been searching for info on just how much current is generated by a slowing car but haven't found any. The discussion on the 1/24 cars seem more concerned with handling a short across the braids from cars coming off rather than the current generated by the car itself. Do you know of any info re current generated during braking and the possibility of using a circuit breaker of some sort to protect against the short

Re: New controller
I know the Slot.It controllers use a fuse, and we put 3A breakers in our tracks, so a 2.5A fuse in the controller may be the way to go?

The Parma EC circuit is here with a 15A fuse. (botom right, near the red wire)
