March Social Meet
Hey People ! Time to drag out those dusty cars and see what they can do ! Where: My House ! 35 Trifund Crt Merriwa When: Sunday March 18th. Times: 10am onwards ! What: Slot Car Racing ! Duh ! Will have the big track open to what ever you want ! With any luck the 1/256th (thats 1/64th scale 1/4 mile) mile strip will be open for racing ! Will hold races for each of out normal classes and then probably start looking at something a little more, yeah, 30V ! The indoor round the world test track will be open for racing also ! So bring what ever you like! Its time to go racing ! I plan on doing a proper run with the drag strip and would love to see some 20 min t-jet heats on the big track, with the banked corners made flat its acutally a great track for these cars ! I'll be putting on a bbq lunch, but please bring your own beverages. |

I normally write up a report but I didn't write down any results so this will be a very short report. Only thing that I really want to say is "great job Cam". That track and set up was a great effort. As Dave said, I didn't realise that straight line racing could be so much fun. Also thanks to Chad for running the races and Tracey for doing the cooking. Thanks to all for a fun, but bloody hot, afternoon. As to the winners, hey you know who won. |
