May 2007 - Oval racing comes to Perth
Book it into your diary Oval racing, Sat May 19th. Details will follow later but it is planned to be a shorter day. Practice from 1:00pm. Racing to start at 2:00pm, finish by 5:00 followed by a BBQ. Racing will be a different format with lots of short sharp races. Crash and burn rule (no marshalling to be done). Stock Turbo cars and maybe Super G+ with your Turbo body and rear tyres. For those interested we are planning to run Restricted Open in the evening. Stay tuned for more information.  |

OK, I plan to be checking out the tracks, both the Oval and mine, next Saturday (May 12th) arvo and I should be working on my cars on Sunday Arvo. Anyone who wants the practice is welcome to join me on either (or both) afternoons. Just let me know if you are coming so that you don't miss us if we pop out to the shops or something.

Dear Geoff and Kay THANKS for a great day/night of racing and laughs. And also for the abundant food
I now know to check this page as well as the regular one for race announcements.. if Geoff hadn't sent email invites I woulda missed out altogether! Glad we tried the oval, but it didn't do much for me.. Drag racing is more appealing. Ya never know unless ya give it a go |

So we can add a return run to the drag strip and make it a realllllllllly long oval. We can have the drag racing and oval racing on the same day, at the same time. |
