Enduro time again
yes its that time of year enduro time , so this time it will be at my house ,so 6 lane enduro. So this will mean 6 hours of racing. Was everbody happy at the last one or should we change things. there is talk of going with turbos this time.so i know you want to put your info in so go for it. We got to work out a date and which time is good.

so i put my info in turbos yes but tyco`s where good aswell so i dont mind which one.

so the big thing is the time . I wouldnt have a clue what time cause its 6 hours so we gota try and have lunch or dinner in that time (well i do anyways)

And geoff was saying it will be in october but im not shore if thats wright or not.

cheers drew

My votes are:
Turbos with Le Mans bodies !

1 hour per lane,

maybe have a start at 3pm, and a 1/2 time dinner break ?
I'm planing on being in the US in the 1st week of October...

Re: Enduro time again
Turbos with Group C bodies (what Drew said) works for me.

Could also add in a rule where the rear wing must be attached at all times too lol which means driving very carefully while the super glue dries

I claim the Castrol Jag hehe..

A Nascar body would solve the wing problem, but we've done that already.

As for bracket times, I'd like to go for 30 mins, so we get to drive each lane twice. Also might make surviving the 6 hrs easier (remember lots of marshalling too).

I also think a team of 3 would be ideal, but we'd need extra ppl

I'll be sure to post all my other ideas too haha

For the two people teams, don't forget your colostomy bags.

Re: Enduro time again
To race Super G+ and have them all in one piece at the end you would need to make sure that they were all the new "nylatron" grey plastic variety and they are only available with limited bodies.

Turbos seem the right way to go for me.

Are we still talkiing about new cars straight out of the box with the Group C type bodies?

Re: Enduro time again
Will the cars be straight out of the packets like at Cams?
How will the teams be picked?

Re: Enduro time again
Best idea I heard Saturday.

To make sure that no team is advantaged/disadvantaged by the car they get for the enduro it has been suggested that a team only takes the bdoy with them to the next heat. The chassis stays on the lane meaning everyone races that chassis on that lane.

The body teams have to keep in one piece. Any damage has to be repaired. The chassis stay on the lane, any speed advantage is eliminated.

Re: Enduro time again
And what if a car gets wrecked, or becomes slow 1/2 way thru ?

Gotta say Geoff, i dont like that idea
If you break the chassis then its your problem for the whole event, and not passed on to others!

I tend to find than brand new turbos are much of a muchness really...
