May - Racing at XLR8
We are racing in May at XLR8 in Bibra Lakes.

We will be building our own track for use on the day. We will build it one weekend and race on it the following weekend. So the question is what sort of track do we want.

Chad has already put an idea up. When I was speaking to Chad without having seen his layout I said that I thought we should copy a track from overseas but after seeing Chad's idea I would be quite happy to race on it.

So the question is what track would you like to race on?

Post your ideas whether it be your own layout or a picture of some one else's track.

Here is Chad's layout for starters:

We have a table 3.6 x 1.2 to build it on.

Re: May - Racing at XLR8
can we get our hands on 10x 12" curves? I've got 1 or 2!
also need about 10x 15" curves (think of changing the start of the 5th turns from 12's to 15's).

Re: May - Racing at XLR8
When I spoke to Scott and John, we agreed to having 4 table each 1800 x 650 giving us a total table top of 3600 x 1300.

When I look around the world, gee there are a lot of tracks in the States that look like this.

I would love to give something like this a go.

Re: May - Racing at XLR8
looks like we have some volunteers for 12" turns

Cam and Ems track can get down to about 12 or so.
