January Racing!!
Hi all 
Now that Xmas/New Year's is out of the way, let's turn our attention to RACING 
Has anyone put their hand up to host a January meet? If we get desperate, I could do it, just means alot of panic cleaning and track maintenance lol. Still wondering about this Max Trak rumour as well

Yep finally signed up. aiming for a test run in Jan, maybe a proper race in Feb or Mar. need to finish reed switching. and wiring to 1 lane. and crash barriers. its not a 5min job it seems. also hoping to get *Geoff* to assist in hanging on wall, will be a real test but worth it for me. I am getting rust on the track on the patio in summer after 10d, winter would be a shocker. |

patio track just needs a light cover to keep off the condensation

Ok ppl, I opened my mouth and now I'm hosting this month's racing 
THIS SATURDAY, 16TH JANUARY Seeing as it's Cam n Em's last play date before they shift countries (Sydney), make the long trek down my way to beat them one more time on the track 
Usual story, BBQ lunch, byo everything else, arrive from about 10am onwards. Will be racing Tjets (maybe extended brackets?), maybe XTractions (IROC format?), and whatever else we feel like at the time. Be there, or be (un)square

Already had several things happening on that day, and realistically I won't be able to do it, thought maybe I could but it just aint gonna happen.. Shawn, I got your RSVP, but it seems I can't email anyone atm, and I'm about to be offline for a while (am on a borrowed Net connection currently) Again, apologies to everyone, but I'd rather can it than have something really sub standard..

i totally thought you were joking davey..... but that's cool, cam is taking the gatos on the 26-27, so we can do the 23rd or 30th if y'all still want that good old fashioned ass woopin
it's no dramas if stuff can't get planned, we can have a get together here--tho the bbq may or not be here. |

it had to be the 16th cuz we didn't know when we were moving the gatos.
hmm, i'll have to tell cam that a squircle is just a square who's dulled the points to be round Xd |

Dave you don't sound too keen on getting it ready. It's always a challenge I know. I am offering my humble track for Feb 27 at this stage. Geoff had a run on it today and is reasoanbly happy with it. Actually he likes it a lot.
I wont offer practice of course, to give myself a headstart. My tips are taller tires and more micro horsepower.  |
