Due to unforeseen circumstances the Enduro has been delayed until Dec 4th.

Still to decide on times.

I have a competing engagement at 6pm

Is there any (fair) way we can finish by 5??

I think Drew might be back for that w/end, will see if he can drop in.
He's usually pretty busy with all 3 kids though.

Re: Enduro - November on Shawn's Max Trax
Your the second, Kev has also requested a 5pm finish.

The next question is what time we can start? Kev can make it as early as 10am.

We have six entries (Shawn, Dave, Kev, Chris, Garth and me). Wayne looks like partnering Garth at least for some of the time. Dave you are welcome to have Drew do some of the driving for you if you like or maybe one of the others may like to hand over for a while.

So now if we have a start time we will simply fit as much racing as possible before 5pm.

10am start?

as in Race Start

Shawn, how does this sit with you?
Means we all have to be there BEFORE 10am..

Suggest: we arrive 9-9:30am, small amount of practice/tinkering, then line 'em up at 10..
Is Garth able to make these times????????

10am start sounds good, it might be hot by then, so finishing early will avoid the afternoon sun.

I think we should aim for 9-9.30am turnup, so that we are sure who's coming.

What's the deal with running 1hr per lane and 15min brackets. how long would that take to go through? 6hrs?

Longer marshalling stints though.

I was thinking 20 min heats. No practice times between heats. It would take just on 2 hrs for a rotation of everyone racing every lane. We could have a half hour break and do it all again, Twice

1st rotation starts at 10
2nd rotation starts at 12:30
3rd rotation starts at 3:00

If the third rotation starts late for any reason we can shorten the heats in the last rotation so we are all finished by 5:00

People can pull their chassis out of the hat at 9:30 and then have a bit of practice if they want. We will draw starting positions just before 10:00 and then get into it.

I think everyone should bring their own food and drinks. We don't have to worry about cooking sausages or anything.

Don't foget tommorrow chaps. I finally figured out why Red lane has a power drop. Guess. It's missing a clip on the red lane. that would explain it. took me ages to find where I put the spares. so glad to solve that problem. see youse in the morning aroudn 9am.

Hey Shawn, really enjoyed the racing yesterday, can't believe it was so close after so many laps

Thanks again to Geoff for procuring the cars and organisational skills, and to Kev, Chris and Garth for putting in some strong performances.

I can now boast I've raced in TWO enduros in the last 5 years!!

Thanks Dave, I really enjoyed the challenge of trying to keep up. we raced over 64km in just over 3hrs and it came down to just 50m difference. Also Thanks to Geoff for keeping the racing moving along so smoothly. That's my 2nd as well counting the one we did at Kev's place last year.
