March Racing on Shawn's Max Trak
Prep yourself for our next race meet of 2012, on the super fast and smooth Max Trak at Shawn's place in Landsdale. Tentative date was March 3rd, work on that until the man himself either confirms or throws a spanner at us 
Thankfully we only have small spanners in HO racing. Bring ya fast bits  |

Can I point out that it's also a public holiday on Monday that weekend - http://www.westernaustralia.com/EN/TRAVEL_INFO/IMPORTANT_TRAVEL_TIPS/Pages/School_and_Public_Holidays.aspx Not sure if that is going to affect anyone for coming along? Cheers Richard |

Geoff Yes we are racing on the 3rd. Should be good to use the track again. I uncovered it recently and it was working straight off. Kev might not turn up due to school holidays.  |

Hi Guys , School holidays have finished weeks ago & although I'd like to come along for this meeting - I'm gonna have to pass ( yet again ) ; while we were away on holidays in N.S.W. recently - Chris & our "Shitty son-inlaw" came on down for a late night visit , during their time at our vacant place , they have used bolt cutters & broke in past our gates & even broke into my "Locked" workshop ( taking whatever they liked ) , making matters worse - they have been under the bonnet of my car & Re-Arranged ALL of my sparkplug leads & also flattened my battery & I'm not sure what else they've done to my engine but needless to say that I'm currently not prepared to drive too far from home until I can find out why it doesn't work properly anymore but do keep me informed as I'd like to get back into racing again sometime soon if possible. Also Geoff - just letting you know that we hope to visit you soon - all going well. |

Better late than never here's the results. Luckily we got any definitive results after our computer timing problems and corroded leads. Thanks to Geoff and Dave for sorting the problems out and for the rest of us for being patient. The track still worked fine otherwise so the smart drivers got in some practice. We had a four way tie for 1st in the T-jets race. Not sure who to put on top of the list, so I chose Dave. In the SG+ race again it was close with moi managing stay on track in the last heat to win by 7 laps.
Afterwards we had a bit of a whisky tasting session, and some drink driving on the track after that. [Attachment: Mar2012_Results.pdf (78.98kb)] |
