Being our last day in Penang, and with our flight leaving at about 5PM, we thought about heading into Georgetown, but ended up deciding to stay around Batu Ferrengi. After breakfast we took a walk to the North of where our hotel was, but found there wasn't a lot around. Except for a few more hotels and stalls, most businesses were closed at this time and would only open from mid day so we took a few photos befor we heading back to the south, where the markets normally are.
After that we picked up my suits from the tailor, and headed back to the hotel to do a final pack, already being around 1PM.
The hotel called and said our late check out should have been at 2PM, even though the day before we had organized to stay until 3PM, and arranged a limo at 2.45 - so we checked out at 2 and the limo driver had arrived early, so headed out to the airport to get ready for the trip to Bangkok.
The camera was away for most of the trip, but we arrived a couple of hours later. stopped by at kioks in airport to book tours for the following 2 days, booked a whole day trip for the next day to kanchanabui XX kms, and a half day tample and palace tour the the day after. took taxi to apts and checked into our serviced apartment called "Fraser Place". I took a couple of photos of the night scene before our friend, Allison, and her mum Alice, arived.
We chatted about KL, Penang and family for a while before they left and we called it a night.
