After last night's late ending, we were both still tired, but managed to get up for the breakfast at the hotel before meeting our tour guide at around 930AM.
Today we headed out to the Grand Palace and buddhist temple, Wat Phra Keaw. These were right next to each other as we took these photos along the way.
Next we went to a Gem Factory, however both of us were not too interested (Eunice would rather go shopping in the local markets, and I like the cultural aspct of places). We'd arranged with our guide that, rather than being dropped back at the hotel, he'd drop us off at the Chatachuk markets (also called the JJ markets). This seemed to suit the guide as his office was nearby, and it saved him from getting the driver to go back and forth across Bangkok.

We bought a new suitcase, as well as an arsenal of clothes over the couple of hours we were there, and we only covered one floor of the three floor complex. We stopped off for a cool drink at KFC before catching another cab back to our hotel (110 baht; around $au3.50).
We rested for a bit after a long night before Ally and Alice came over to meet up for another night's programme.
Tonight we went to Suan Lam markets, which were just around the corner from our hotel (I think it was on a perpindicular stret, about 2 streets away), and we ate and wandered around until about 11PM. I spotted a nice "Ferrari" jacket, which Eunice and Allison bartered down to about 700baht (about $au23) before Alice and Allison (who had to work the next day) went back to their apartment - we were intending to go to the "Ping Pong" show, but we ended up wandering around the
